Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SaaS Application Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in building scalable, robust, and secure microservices-based SaaS applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our flagship SaaS products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new and existing SaaS applications.
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient SaaS solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of SaaS applications to ensure quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing, providing timely resolutions.
- Implement and maintain integrations with third-party services and APIs as needed.
- Continuously optimize and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of SaaS applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in SaaS development and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and clients as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on building SaaS applications.
- Proficiency in modern scripted programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with data lake design and management.
- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
